Welcome to Pawsitive Escapes! After getting Vinnie during the pandemic I found myself wanting to travel more, but like lots of dogs he can be sensitive to strangers and other animals. I soon realised that if I wanted to find somewhere we could both enjoy I was going to need to do my research.
Since then Pawsitive Escapes has become a place to capture our experiences and share our favourites with other sensitive dog pawrents.
Whether it’s a luxury cottage, a renovated hut, or a secluded beach, I hope you find the perfect stress-free getaway that you and your family can enjoy, no matter the great British weather.
When I started looking for placings to go on holiday I found myself contacting endless lists of hosts but never finding quite the right place (on-site parking is a lot less common than you’d think!). Quite often I end up settling for day trips which never really scratched the ‘holiday’ itch.
Pawsitive Escapes was created from a place of believing that we and our dogs can and deserve to explore the world like everyone else. With a little bit of extra effort and understanding of what our dogs need we can find the pawfect getaway.
